I really like that shading method. How do you get it to go so smoothly without getting lines all over your character?

Hmmm? Can you say that again but with different wording?...

If you're wondering how I made the lines all straight and not all over the place, it was easy :)
Just held Shift and drew a line in any downward or upward direction :)

well, I know how to make the lines straight in photoshop, but I mean... what do you do to keep the lines neatly in the boundaries of where it's being shaded without stopping too short or going out too far? If I do either of those with lines, it looks really bad when I try to fix it :'(

After looking at the drawing again, I see you stopped short in some areas, but it still looks better than it would if I tried it ^_^;

It's kinda like colouring within the lines. Just don't go too far :P And yeah, I did stop short in some areas =P
